General Cocurricular Information

Students are expected to participate in the cocurricular offerings of the College, in order to stretch themselves in a range of areas beyond the classroom.

At OLMC Parramatta, our staff design and lead our cocurricular activities in order to make build dynamic relationships with students and extend their skills and engagement with school life.

The new list of cocurricular opportunities is published to students via Canvas at the beginning of each year, or as new opportunities arise throughout the calendar year. Students are expected to register themselves and work with the supervising teachers to make sure they attend all relevant activities. Their participation is recognised in semesterly reports, though some cocurricular activities may have external or additional recognition, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

Please encourage your daughter to undertake at least one cocurricular activity per semester, and encourage her to reflect on her growth as a results of her participation.

Further information about specific cocurricular activities will be available to your daughters in Canvas via the MyOLMC Information Gateway course.
